Allow me to introduce myself. I've been called many things, my favorite is 'Adorable', but 'The Jerk', stuck to me like a burr. Do I deserve it? Probably.""I can be insensitive. I don't care much for other dogs or humans, except for those I consider my special friends. I have no qualms telling you how I feel. If I love you, you will know it. If I don't, you will know that too! My favorite things are snuggling, cuddling, and playing with my close buds. If you have no objection to that, we're a match made in heaven. I can also seem cocky. I'm a labrador and dachshund mix, what a interesting combo, right? I feel tall like a lab, but my stubby legs remind me otherwise. Consequently, others might say I have a "Napoleon complex." But that's just my armor. Behind that faade is the real me reserved for the Human I love.""I make no excuses for being a jerk. I'm ten years old and I've been roughed up a little. I don't want to be a jerk forever. I prefer to forget my past and to start anew. Maybe you can help me write the rest of my story. It will surely need some loving characters in it -- like you.Did my story turn you off? Did I just shoot myself in the paw? Put my paw in my mouth? I hope not. I promise you - adopting a jerk has its perks. Come and find out for yourself. Just call my foster mom etc.
