Are you able to quarantine your fosters for a minimum of 2 weeks?
Most felines in shelters and rescues are saved from the streets. They are "Found", therefore they may have been exposed to illnesses. Therefore we ask that you keep your new foster(s) separate from your household pets to allow time for your foster(s) to decompress from street life as well as to ensure your foster(s) are not harboring an illness. Do you have an area in your home in which your foster(s) can be isolated for a period of 7-14 days? For 'bottle babies' this can be as simple as a tote, or carrier. For older kittens and cats, a spare room, bathroom or other area of the home that can be closed off.
