You see this dog house in my photos? This is all I have to call my own, I don't even have a name. I was seen being abandoned in the middle of nowhere but the person that left drove away so fast those that saw it happen couldn't catch them. Instead, they contacted the local pound and ask that I be taken so no more hard cold come to me. My body shows the hardship of an old unloved dog, i'm not neutered and I have masses on my chest and legs that have not been examined by a doctor, and I hurt everywhere. I won't flinch at the dogs that growl at me as I walk past thier kennel. I won't take for granted the kindness of a human. The folks at this shelter and those at Always & Furever Midwest Animal Sanctuary are taking me to a vet right now to receive medical attention. I'm not young, I'm not healthy, but I'm here, and I matter.
