Meet Deputy. This handsome man is the one of the 12 Oklahoma dogs we JUST saved from last-minute euthanasia. He was returned by his adopters for being a bit growly at their other dog and for having a scuffle at a pet store when he slipped out of his collar, so his adopters dumped him back off and he got a first spot slot on the kill list for the day. Apparently those people have never heard of the 3 day/3 week/3 month rule. Look at this face, whom humans have kept letting down over and over again, and tell me that this boy isn't deserving of life and love. Only 3 years old. The kill shelter reported that he is such a friendly boy and is kenneled with other dogs and hasn't had a single issue.
