Meet Sidney! This sweet boy came to us last summer, after we found him on Oklahoma's euthanasia list where he was a terrified 6 month old puppy. We found out about him and 12 others who had 10 minutes left before walking down the hallway of no return. All of these pups were young, friendly, and full of life. Yet they were all euth listed for lack of space, no resources, and the fact that he as an upper respitory infection - because when you are sick in a kill shelter they send you to heaven instead of taking you to the vet. So instead, we whisked Sidney out of there and got him healthy and he was quickly adopted. Unfortunately, he was recently returned for jumping their short fence to chase the neighbor's cat and not responding to the shock collar they put on him. Since being back with us, he has been full of wiggles and giggles and kisses and love. He is great with all dogs and is a very good boy. He will need a home with a tall fence or someone willing to keep him on a leash and show him how to be a real dog, since he's grown up being bounced around and never known stability. He pulls pretty strong on a leash, and has one beautiful fleck of blue in one of his eyes. He does get pretty pink in the sun and probably needs sunscreen if outside for extended periods of time. Sidney would do best being crated when his people are not home as he is still a puppy who could use some guidance and support to be the best boy possible.
