When we first put Pocket on our list to come to us I had someone reach out to me that worked with the shelter we got him from and asked if we knew what we were getting ourselves into and that Pocket was aggressive, reactive, killed cats and would be a huge risk to us. We said we understood the risks and we wanted to still move forward with saving him. The day came where I finally got to meet the "aggressive, cat killing Pit called Pocket that had this shelter running scared. Well... I can tell you that Pocket is the most loving and silly boy. He is gentle, he will not jump on you, does not nip at your hands, even when you're playing tug or any toys with him and he's smart. He wants to learn tricks and show you all the tricks he does know! Pocket does flinch and shy away from you if you move to quickly towards him or raise your voice which can only mean his past wasn't kind to him... but we do know that appearances are deceiving and that you can't judge a book by its cover. If we had, we'd have never met Pocket. Pocket is the sweetest soul that's just searching for his furever family. He isn't good with cats and we've never tested him with dogs but he has been non reactive to dogs while on walks and adventures! He would make a truly wonderful addition to any family
