Xavier is a sweet 10 year old who was found as a stray in St. Louis. Unfortunately, we do not know anything about his past. We do know that even though his legs might not be as strong as other dogs, his big heart sure is. He was listed for mercy euthanasia because of mobility issues, but we could not let that happen; so we pulled him and transported him to a wonderful vet in St. Louis who took Xavier under his care. You see, it isn't Xavier's time just yet. He's got some more living to do and some more loving to give his forever family. Xavier needs some help standing up. He is on the right meds now and is doing better. Slick floors are still a little hard for him, so he would love to find a foster or a forever family who can give him a place where he can relax, rest, and recover. He will be so grateful if you want to make him yours. He is the sweetest, gentlest boy and he would love a chance to show you how loving he can be. Xavier has been nonreactive to dogs. We are not sure how he is with cats, but it probably won't be a problem because of his mobility issues. Xavier is a darling boy who is looking for place to call home. Please consider making him yours and he will love you forever!
