Meet Roma! This sweet girl has a long story who's ending is still waiting to be written. Originally, Roma was sentenced to die in a kill shelter for escaping her kennel and destroying blinds in her previous home. When it was her turn to walk the hallway of no return at the shelter, she escaped her kennel there too. We didn't know if she was alive or not - but we were trying to tag her anyway. We waited and waited for what seemed like forever to know if she was safe, and by fate she became ours. Roma is playful and beautiful. She loves everyone and is the best snuggler ever, her favorite activities are visiting elementary schools to get belly rubs from all the kids! Roma has a few dog friends here and is most satisfied when she gets to play with other dogs, so a home with another dog would be great for her. Overall she is pretty laid back, she goes on short walks and plays with others in short bursts. She does have separation anxiety when being left alone, so she would love a family that is home often. A home is preferred over an apartment too in case she barks while left alone. She also has a special crate that can go home with her to a foster or Furever family! A 5' or 6' fence is preferred. She recently had a sleepover and her foster said: "I have had the absolute joy and honor of having a lovely sleepover with the sweetest and gentlest soul- Roma! She has been a delight! I believe she's really enjoyed relaxing & decompressing on the bed, & getting all the attention she can handle from me! She has been an angel. She loves to cuddle & spoon, and get tons of caresses. Roma has been so quiet, calm, and loving- I just can't believe she hasn't found her furever home yet. She is just perfect & magical with the most calming spirit and soul. Please consider adopting or fostering sweet baby girl."
