Tesha came from a house with 7 other dogs who all kept fighting each other. One day, the fights escalated and Tesha was torn apart and had to be rushed to the emergency room. Her owners were told by the emergency vet that they had to stick around until a rescue took her or else they would euthanize her because they couldn't hospitalize. The owners got up and walked out. Hurt, scared, and traumatized - they left her to die by herself. Once we heard that, we could not let that happen. She doesn't deserve to die because her owners failed her. We don't know which dogs started the fights, but dogs who don't fight back are normally not the ones who start fights. The other dog walked away with no scratches or injuries. Tesha is still a baby at only 9 months old. She has a whole life a head of her. She deserves to know what it is like to be in a home with love and companionship. Not being in fear of when the next attack will happen. Despite her background, Tesha has been doing well with other dogs and is the sweetest snuggle bug ever
