HOSPICE HELP NEEDED Meet Franny! Franny is a sweet, silly senior girl who is dying from cancer. Her time is limited, but she needs a very special home. Please read her story: Franny's mom came down with Cancer quickly and could no longer care for her. Not having many resources, Franny ended up in the kill shelter. When dogs come in as strays - the shelter has to wait 72 hours unless medically deemed necessary before that time. However, dogs that come in as owner surrenders can be put down at any point - making it a much higher chance of them being put down first. Suddenly, Franny was alone in a shelter with nothing familiar around, nothing to even lay on, let alone cuddle with in the kennel. People walking past and dogs barking all hours of the night. Unfortunately, after losing her mom and home, Franny also came down with her own cancer diagnosis. The vet found out she is heart worm positive and noticed she had several bleeding growths on her belly that turned out to be cancerous. Sweet Franny has not let this slow her down and she is as bouncy and friendly as ever! If you give her a treat, you will make a friend for life! Franny recently had a sleepover foster who said she is completely potty trained and the perfect house guest.
