Meet Kala! Back in March, this sweet girl came to the Osawatomie Pound as a stray with her two siblings. Her siblings have since found homes, however, over 3 months have passed and Kala still waits for a foster or Furever family to pick her. She is 3 years old and is a pittie/Shar pei mix we think due to her spotted tongue. We know she is good with both big and small dogs, both males and females, because her siblings were those. We recently found out that Kala lived with a cat at her previous home before becoming a stray too, but she will most likely need slow introductions. Please consider opening your heart and home to this sweet girl, Kala loves to do zoomies and loves to give kisses even more. Kala's foster mom says: Here is what I know so far: She is all love. She loves to be loved on and will come to you often for that! After a couple days, she is already integrated with my pack. At first she was overwhelmed (of course)! Time, redirection, and having her own kennel to decompress in really have helped. She goes to her kennel when asked and really finds comfort in it! She LOVES to play with other dogs and is so silly! She jumps around and spins... it's just too cute. Loves toys especially tug of war and loves people or other dogs at the other end! Very interested in cats, but not as food or foe! She just wants to play so bad. She has already come a long way since she came here and everyone is settling in nicely! This one is special. She just wants love and a place to call her own.
