Meet Ava! This sweet scared girl came with 15 other littles from a rescue that closed. Before even that rescue, Ava was rescued from a hoarding situation. This poor girl was in a terrible home with many dogs and doesn't know what it means to truly be loved and live a normal lifestyle. Ava has spent the last few months in a foster home where she is very slowly learning to come out of her shell and know that she is safe. She is still very scared and will need a patient adopter who is willing to give her space and time to adjust. Ava is good with other dogs and is as cute as she is sweet. Her foster says she has started to snuggle behind her legs on the couch and will follow her everywhere. She'll lick her fingers and take treats out of her hand, but the SECOND she turns her hand over to pet her, Ava runs and hides. Any potential adopters should know that a meet and greet will probably be very unique and short as she most likely will not come out while strangers are present.
