Hi there! Do you like delicious snacks, long walks in the sunshine, and even longer naps? Because I do, and I could be your companion for all of the above and more! People call me a "senior" but I sure don't feel like one. I love walks, and sometimes I even like to run and play (and then take a nap, obviously)! I'm very low-key, and am happy to snuggle up on the couch with my loved ones, watching TV and snoozling (my fosters say I snore, but I've never heard me snore). The vet at the shelter thinks I may have had a stroke earlier in life that left me with some facial paralysis, which makes me look a little different. Personally, I think I look contemplative and thoughtful. I'm definitely a survivor: my foster mom found me after Hurricane Dorian, and I was so happy she did. She was gentle with me, I was gentle with her, and I am so glad she brought me to a safe place. My foster parents call me "well trained" and "crate trained" and "a really good girl. l love my bed in my crate, and I can "sit and wait" for as long as you want me to. When I'm around large groups of people, I'm happy to sit quietly beside you. I love to peoplewatch, and to get hellos and pets from new human friends. I'm good with other dogs, and depending on my mood, we might just say hi or we might play gently a bit. I also love my cat roommates - one of them snuggles with me on the couch every evening! I love my people, and I am looking for my person. Are you my person?? If you think you might be, apply to adopt me - I look forward to meeting you!
