Meet Jerry! This sweet boy is crate trained, never had an accident in the house, knows several commands (sit, lay down, stay, off), and has been doing incredibly well learning leash manners. He loves hiking, swimming, car rides, chasing balls and frisbees, cuddles, butt scratches, and exploring with any humans. Jerry has adapted to his foster home quickly and even goes roller skating around the neighborhood with his foster family! Want an adventure buddy? He's definitely your guy. Want a snuggle buddy? He's ABSOLUTELY your guy. He may take a little bit to get comfortable and really show his personality, but his foster mom says he's smart, loving, and eager to please. Small children make him anxious, and he's had a little history with resource guarding around them, so he will need to be in a home with no children or older children. He's met many furry friends on his escapades, but he's still not sure how to introduce himself sometimes and will get a little too excited if not brought into the situation properly. Jerry is continuing to work on his manners with a trainer, but loves other dogs, and would do well in a home with active people so he can get his energy out regularly.
