PLEASE VISIT THIS WEBSITE TO FIND THE ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE: http://www.homewardtrails.org/adopt-a-pet/adoption-forms/ Butterscotch is one fun loving and friendly girl. She is about 3-4 years old and about 35 lbs. Butterscotch gets along with humans of all ages and other dogs. She sometimes thinks cats are fun to chase but she has lived with cats short term and did just fine. Butterscotch has so much going for her with her winning personality. But she has a medical condition clouding her future. Butterscotch is suffering from what seem to be seizures. They occur at the rate of about once a week and last about 2 minutes. She recovers from them quickly. She's been examined and so far veterinarians can't find a cause. She is in apparent good health. Butterscotch hopefully will see a specialist soon and we will know more. We are working hard to raise funds for her specialist visit and testing. Please consider helping her: https://www.mightycause.com/story/Whyisbutterscotchhavingseizures. Butterscotch found a wonderful home but her adopters' schedule is too busy to allow them to give her the supervision ideally suited. This sweet girl is now in search of a home with a family who can give her the extra care she needs. Butterscotch is house trained and crate trained and a marvelously delightful companion. Butterscotch is a beagle mix. She is short to the ground and long so she may be part bassett hound or maybe even dachshund - its anyone's guess.
