Elijah is now with Homewardtrails where he will be treated for his heartworms and will live a healthy and happy life From his foster and long time volunteer at the Georgia shelter: If there's a party, Eli will be the life of it! This sweet boy likes all dogs and all people. He loves to play chase with other dogs and to tackle and be tackled. Eli also likes to play fetch. After playtime, Eli's next priority is a long nap. He loves to stretch out all four paws and sleep belly up. He does very well on a leash and would make a great companion on walks around the block or longer hikes in the woods. After he calms down from the initial excitement of going for a walk, Eli walks very well on a leash and isn't dog or people reactive.
