My name is Grace and I'm originally from Puerto Rico. I was a part of a park of dogs roaming the streets before I was rescued. I've been through a lot recently. When I arrived here, they discovered I had worms in my heart! Don't worry, it's all been treated and now I'm a-ok! I also was adopted for a short period of time, but it didn't work out because I didn't want to live with another dog. I've had to share everything with other dogs in the past, and now I want to be a little selfish and have a place all to myself. So, here I am, waiting for my forever family to find me. In the meantime, I have some other calm dogs from Puerto Rico to hang out with and a really cozy crate to nap in. I love curling up in my cozy blankets and napping. After all I've been through, I need to catch up on some Z's. Do you think I could be a part of your family? Adoption Coordinator: Homeward Trails Adoption Center Location: Adoption Center The adoption fee for this dog is $400. This fee DOES INCLUDE spay/neuter and microchip. We are proud to partner with the following veterinarians who offer a free first exam for your animal, exclusively for HT adopters: Caring Hands Animal Hospital, Palisades Veterinary Clinic, Sunshine Animal Hospital and Clarendon Animal Care and all VCA Animal Hospitals. Additionally, any VCA hospital will cover illnesses up to $250 at no cost to any Homeward Trails adopter. We also provide a 30-minute phone consult with a professional dog trainer at Fur-Get Me Not within the first 30 days of adopting - just for HT adopters in the Arlington/Alexandria area.
