Stella is originally from Oman and a mixed breed of Saluki and retriever (almost like a thin yellow lab with lanky long legs and shorter ears). She was abandoned on the street as a little pup with her siblings, who also made the trip with her to the US through an International rescue organization. She does well with other dogs, cats and kids and loves to explore outdoors. She is still a pup and looking for a home with time and love. Stella recently moved to a foster home and is settling in well. Her mom says she hasn't had any accidents since her first day, she LOVES her toys and carries them to and from her bed, and plays great with her human sisters. She's still a tad skittish around loud noises (school buses, motorcycles, etc), but adjusting really well. We think she would do great in a home with kids. Stella is not a fan of her crate (she rubs her nose on the metal and seems to be stressed), but once out of her crate she does just fine in the house. We'd recommend an adopter work with her on this, or be open to keeping her out of the crate. Right now she sleeps on her doggie bed all night long near her foster parents and does great!
