Simona is a beautiful orange female tabby, but as much as the staff has tried to calm her and socialize her, she remains super scared and hides when a volunteer talks to her and attempts to interact with her. She will need a very patient person to work with her to gain her trust. Since the above description was written, one of the volunteers has been working with Simona. She has gained Simona's trust. As of 7/16/20 the volunteer can now pet and brush Simona, which she loves and looks forward to. Simona always seems to be waiting for the volunteer to come close to her, talk to her, pet her and brush her. If there is a potential adopter who would like to try working with Simona, we feel she would become receptive to some patient and tender loving care.
