A Home Depot parking lot was no home sweet home to a very pregnant stray cat. Goldenflower was picked up there and taken to the League City Animal Shelter. She went into foster care with an experienced foster mom and soon gave birth to 7 kittens! Goldenflower loved mothering her babies. In fact, she also loved mothering other foster kittens who came to share the foster home. She is often found curled up with a cat buddy. There is another thing Goldenflower can be found doing. She reaches through the bars of a closed kennel containing kittens and kitten food. She is not looking to snuggle kittens in this case. Instead, she is looking to smuggle a bite of kitten food from the cage to her tummy! Goldenflower has done a great job tending to kittens. She is looking for a new job now, that of companion cat! She does well with friendly cats and is fine with kids. She asks that dogs stay out of her personal space. Her temperament is calm and quiet. Couch buddy. Nap buddy. Bedtime buddy. She is ready to do it all. Wildflower is in search of her own, home sweet home. #adoptgoldenflower #lcpa *Thanks to foster mom extraordinaire Elysia HoyPatterson who fostered Goldenflower, her babies, provided the original photos and the information for the story.
