Leigh: Instructions Included. No Batteries Required It started with a text. 'Young, emaciated mom of 3 needs a foster for respite care. Could I take her in?' My heart lies with the momma cats. This five month-old momma cat had a pastel pink nose, a personal weakness for me. I picked her up. Leigh needed for her milk to dry up and to gain some weight before she could be spayed. She got spayed and was treated for ear mites, worms and a possible uti. I play with her, deliver canned food three times a day to her and love on her. Fostering has provided Leigh the chance for the tlc she needed to heal. This smart, playful, energetic girl would love a home with another playful cat and people to love her. Slow introductions of cats to one another are always a must. Leigh always uses her litterbox and cardboard scratcher. She loves her fleece kitty teaser, catnip mice, short crinkle tunnel, little balls and small cardboard boxes. She loves to play hide and seek. She will crawl into your lap when she is tired. She will chat with you. She can entertain herself when you are busy, but she loves it when you interact with her. Pretty simple instuctions to keep Leigh happy. Best of all, no batteries needed, this girl is self-charging! Have I learned to love Leigh over these past two months? You better believe it! Now someone will have a great opportunity to love Leigh the rest of her life! I will have the opportunity to help more momma cats like Leigh, one cat at a time.#lcpa #adoptleigh #fosteringsaveslives Please call the shelter at 281-554-1377 to make an appointment to visit Leigh.
