Meet Manny! Not only does Manny hide his age well but would you believe he is the oldest cat the shelter has for adoption?! Manny was brought to the shelter as a stray at 12 years old and in not so good condition. It was discovered that he is mostly deaf and his sight is a little compromised. While that alone would discourage most, it didn't stop his foster mom from bringing Manny to her home where she has been caring for him the last few months. His foster says he is a sweet and funny old man. Low vision doesn't stop this Snowshoe Siamese from finding his favorite toy or batting around a cat nip ball. Manny loves playing with his scratching pole and especially loves when his foster throws him over her should and walks him around the house while giving him smooches on his head. His most favorite hobbies include climbing into someone's lap and sleeping. Sometimes he needs some reassurance if he is scared or isn't sure of what he is seeing. Lightly blowing on his face will do the trick. Manny is allergic to some foods so he has been liking Hills W/D wet food (with a little lysine powder) along with Hills D/D dry food which keeps him happy and regular. Manny would do well in a low activity home with someone who is frequently home to give him all the snuggles and love he wants.
