How to Not Get Adopted: A Jolly Story Jolly is young. Jolly is adorable. Jolly is growing more confident daily. However, Jolly played a trick on me yesterday. I was showing younger cats to a perspective adopter. I told her how I thought Jolly would be perfect for her. It is hard to show a cat you can't find. The community cat room is not that big and I looked everywhere! He was in a bed shaped like a strawberry. But, he was under the cushion. I had to lift it to find him. He did not want to come out and visit the nice lady. I showed her video of Jolly playing with a kitty teaser. She left. Jolly remained. Know what Jolly did as soon as she left? Came out from under the bed cushion and greeted me with huge purrs begging to be petted. I called his foster mom, Gary Patty Rytlewski and teased her about failing to prepare her little orange tabby for winning over adopters. Little stinker. *Although Jolly can be a little shy initially, once he knows you, he is a purr meister who loves to be petted, loves to chase mouse toys, is a fan of the Smarty Cat line of toys and likes treats. #adoptjolly #lcac
