Foster Update: Howdy, I'm Jake! I'm from Kentucky, and I'm a true southern gentleman. While I haven't had a forever home yet, I have the manners and training to behave properly in one, which my foster dad tells me makes me a very good boy. Walks would have to be my favorite thing in the world. Or runs. I do love getting out, and if you like to run, I bet you a ribeye that you cannot outrun me! While there is NOTHING that excites me more than getting outside, I'm still more than happy lounging around the house or even snuggling and getting a belly scratch. I love my human friends, but I'm very self sufficient. I have a lot of energy, but I'm really very low maintenance: I'd be forever grateful if you can feed me and give me somewhere warm to curl up! Jake is a 1-year-old Lab mix arriving to NYC from Kentucky on December 9th. Jake is up to date on his age appropriate medical, microchipped, and is 51 pounds.
