This handsome boy is Luke, a one and a half year old Dutch shepherd cross. He is looking for a very special forever home. Luke knows all basic commends and performs them well. He also walks very well on a leash. Luke will need structure and consistency and an owner with experience for a working breed, I.e. German shepherds Dutch shepherd, or Belgian malinois. His new owner will need to be experienced in training and correcting unwanted behaviors. He would benefit with ongoing work on confidence. Luke is leash reactive but responds well with someone that is in control rather than Luke being in control. At this time Luke is fostered with our trainer to continue his confidence building. The adopter will be required to work with the trainer at no cost. Luke is a fantastic boy and with the right confident adopter will do really well. He's smart, food motivated and very receptive to correction. $400 adoption fee (includes microchip, deworming, vaccines up to date, and neutered). We accept venmo, cash, checks at time of adoption. COVID UPDATE: We are currently unable to do adoptions to Canada unless you are able to cross the border for a meet and to take the dog home. Please let us know if that is possible. We believe in meeting all new adopters, doing various checks and seeing you interact with the dog before determining if it's a good fit. For that reason we do not EVER ship dogs.
