This is Zeke, (AKA Dawson). He is a Chinese Shar-Pei cross.We at Main Street Mutt rescued Zeke literally hours before he was due to be euthanized. He was deemed an unsafe dog because he growled at the police officer and animal control officer when they captured him. At this time Zeke is at a board and train. He will be available for adoption after he recovers from neuter and eye surgery. He has what is called entropion. This is where the eyelids turn inward and the eyelashes rub the eyeball and causes discomfort. This will be corrected with this surgery. We are posting Zeke for adoption at this time. We Looking for an adopter that is familiar with the Shar-Pei. Also someone willing to work with the trainer and bond with Zeke while he is still in training and recovering from surgery. Please inquire for more info. His adoption fee of $250 will include neuter, entropion surgery, board and train, vaccines current and microchip! He can not be adopted to Canada due to the border closure but this will change if the border is opened. We also will not ship and you will be required to attend a few sessions with him and the trainer so its a success forever.
