Kermit is a an almost two-and-a-half-year-old Retriever, Labrador/Terrier who is the perfect dog for someone looking for a high energy dog who is on the upper end of medium. A fenced yard would be desirable and whoever adopts this little guy needs to know that one short walk is not going to be enough exercise for him. So, let's talk about this little pooch. Kermit doesn't like cats so he must be in a cat-free home. He has lived with his family for a year so he does have some good manners but will need to learn how you do things. Before being adopted, Kermit completed a beginner training class and he knows lots of commands such as sit, stay, come, down, shake, look at me, and on your bed. He still needs work in other areas. He is potty trained, crate trained, and it will up to you if you choose to use the crate or not. He had some anxiety before going to his latest home and he could benefit from a calm and stable environment. Kermit LOVES being around other dogs, he adores daycare, and so a home with another confident canine companion would probably work out great. Please bring whoever will be living in the home with Kermit so that he meet them We also suggest bringing any dog for an outside meet. Kermit is up to date on his vaccinations, is neutered, and will be microchipped. For the right home we think Kermit has the potential to be a terrific family dog but we like to be up front and will take the time needed to find a great fit.
