Alexander is 15 months old and full of energy! He loves life, and his happy approach to every new thing will make you happy too. Alexander loves her people, wants to spend time with you and would love a home where he can go jogging, play frisbee, long walks, or chase a tennis ball. Alexander is good with other dogs his size, but he acts a bit like a cattle dog, meaning he wants to be bossy and is not good about sharing food, treats, and toys. If he lives with other dogs he would need to be fed separately or he will guard the food dish and not let the other dogs eat. Alexander has had some very bad luck in his life. This sweet boy was lovingly treated by our entire vet tech team. He enjoyed healthy feedings and attention to his skin issues. He is already gaining weight and most of his coat has grown in beautifully. Alexander was emaciated and nearly dead from malnutrition when he arrived at Pet Allies. He has recovered really well, loves people. He is so happy to finally fell good, perhaps for the first time in his life, that he can jump on you. He needs a bit of training. Pet Allies will be happy to arrange for some training if you are interested in professional help, but we believe just having regular time in a home will improve his over-excitement about life. Please call 928 537-8009 to arrange a meeting as Alexander is living with one of our great Foster Families. Adoption fee $75.00 but because he needs training we have discounted the fee to $55 ***** Pet Allies Shelter, 1181 E Thornton Road, Show Low, AZ 85901, 928-537-8009, open Monday-Thursday 11-3, Friday & Saturday 11-4 Pet Allies Clinic, 4050 S White Mountain Road, Show Low, AZ 85901, 928-532-1602, call Monday-Thursday 10-4 Barkin' Basement Thrift Store, 4050 S White Mountain Road, Show Low, AZ 85901, 928-537-1603, open Monday-Thursday 10-4, Friday & Saturday 10-5 Visit www.PetAlliesAz.org for more information.
