Fang - 2 year old black w/white spot - handsome fellow. His ears are very German Shepherd and the rest of him looks Black Labrador. Fang is too active for a home with young children but will do well with older kids who like to be rough-and-tumble too. Fang is bossy with other dogs, not always sharing the food dish and keeping all the toys for himself. He probably did not have a lot of food and toys before he came to the shelter. He needs to be supervised when there are multiple dogs with toys, treats or food. He is exceeding intelligent and had a history of being an escape artist. Fang wants people time, he needs to be around people, and so will escape by digging if he wants to go somewhere that he will be with -- people! Fang would be a great alert dog, letting you know about strangers coming around, and would be an excellent protector of his person.
