Doc - 8-1/2 year old American Staffordshire Terrier mix. He's a fun dog, playful, has a sense of humor. He does pull a bit on a leash initially, but settles once you get going on a walk. He's house-trained. He LOVES loves loves stuffed animals, especially his snake with 3 squeakies. Doc is loyal, protective, and would make a great dog for a single woman living alone in a rural area, or maybe a part of town that's not too great. He has a big dog bark. Doc is NOT good with other dogs, though sometimes he is fine playing at dog parks or on long walks when he meets a stranger. But for a home, he needs to be the only dog. He likes to be in the room with you, but isn't pestering for attention. Doc brightens up your day whenever you see him, as he smiles and is happy just for a warm bed and a special treat now and then. Please consider Doc. His fee is sponsored by a generous donor. To meet Doc write fostering@PetAlliesAz.org. ***** Pet Allies offers behavior assistance for all pets adopted from the Shelter.
