Meet Frankie! Frankie longs to have her person to love forever! Just look into those eyes and you will see an endless supply of unconditional love. Frankie was picked up as a stray in November of 2019. The shelter was VERY scary to her and I adopted Frankie in December. Frankie tries very hard to please and becomes quickly attached to "her people." She walks very well on a leash, and knows: "sit" "down" "stay" and "place". She is crate trained and VERY housebroken. She knows how to use a dog door and has never had an accident. She has also never chewed or been destructive. Frankie loves car rides and absolutely loves being with her person. Frankie is ALMOST PERFECT!!!! In fact, if she were the only dog in a household, she would be absolutely perfect! The reason I need to re-home Frankie is that she does not get along with my other small dog (terrier mix that is approx. 20 pounds). Frankie gets very jealous of other dogs in the household. However, she does get along with other BIG dogs. I also have a greyhound that Frankie gets along fine with. My sister has two large boxers and Frankie gets along with them.... She just can't seem to tolerate living with a small dog (or cat). I don't have kids, so I do not know if she tolerates children. Frankie is an absolutely beautiful girl with a HUGE heart. She is hesitant with strangers, but once she gets to know you, she loves you with her entire heart and soul. If you don't have a small dog, please come and meet Frankie. She is truly a very special dog. Frankie is participating in The Love Pit's iREHOME program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster, not by TLP. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.
